In her own words: Latina Artist, Esther “Star Angel” Pagan, is called the “Star Angel” by her colleagues.
“As a Latina Artist, I represent the Puerto Rican Diaspora. I am an artist, survivor of life, and inspirational performer. I use my brand of artistry through community activism and education, giving strength to others by sharing my own experiences creatively. As a poet, I embrace the opportunity to combine words, art, and diversity to promote vision, education, and culture. I conquer stigma to face humility with purpose. My followers call me Picassa de la Raza.”
